Fresher Tech

A common and affectionate name for any new Bedlam techie, also serves as the collective noun, the person concerned need not be an actual fresher at the Edinburgh University simply new to Bedlam. The phase also normally covers new recruits to stage-management/costume/props etc

Fresher Techies are normally seen as something of a collective for the first few months until each individual establishes themselves. The "fresher tech" provide a good source of willing hands normally able or at least able to learn.

The label drops off of it's own accord as each new year group arrives in September.
