Every year the stage is re-skinned and a letter is hidden under the hardboard for the next Theatre Manager to find. This page is dedicated to those letters. Each one is a time capsule of sorts.

Theatre Manager's letter 2002 (Uncovered 2003) <lost by 2006>

Written by Mr. Richard Hogg in July 2002

Side 1

Written on EUTC paper (white with red edge strip showing the fat cat)

Dear Theatre Manager 2003,

Well done. You've taken the skin up.

If you can read this then it wasn't too bad!!

It's taken us nearly 12 hours with a 1 hour "pint + food" break to put the fucking stuff back down.

I'm going to try a pva/paint mix for the first coat so if the fuckers were hard to take up that's why!!!

Hogg

P.S. if I'm still around then tell me to go to bed + sleep some.

--> He's fat [pointing to the fat cat in the bottom right]

All in the news...

The Ogg was also on "Holiday". I assume this is different.

Doctors has just re-opened after being painted.

Chris Mounsey claims he's going to "back off".

So does Frank!!!

Caly 80/- is on "Guest" at Bobbies. I expect it still is...

Velvet is £2.10 a pint.

80/- is £2.20 a pint.

Guiness is £2.65 we think. (I don't drink the stuff!)

2005

As far as I remember no letter was found during the re-skinning during Fringe 2005.
